feudalism
There were 4 types of levels or positions in the Feudal System. First were Monarchs, they were the highest class, so they were not much of them. They kept order and gave protection to the vassals. That was their main responsibilities. Next there is the Lords. There are very few Lords because as you know they are the 2nd highest class in the Feudal System. They were responsible for managing and defending the manors, acting as judges, collect taxes, and being loyal to the Kings. After the lords their are Knights. They were supposed to be loyal to the the lord, to be fair, and to protect the King. The least class in the Feudal System were the peasants. Almost 90% of the Feudal System were peasants. They were responsible to raise crops and had to pay taxes to the lords.
